Like the Falcon Expert™ Series, the Cara® Series features the Lite-Bite™ reel seat. This "blank-thru" reel seat allows the angler direct contact with the rod blank, increasing sensitivity. The guide rings are Fuji Hardloy™ material. With the introduction of the LowRider® Series in 1996, Falcon pioneered the use of low-profile single-footed guides to improve casting performance. The Cara® Series continues this tradition of innovation. Using LowRider® alignment, the Hardloy™ guides improve sensitivity, increase casting distance, and reduce line abrasion. The handles are Grade-A Portuguese cork.
